The LUNAR® Standing Frame is an innovative medical rehabilitation device designed to enable safe standing and maintenance of an upright position for users who are unable to stand independently. Prone and Supine Standing
LUNAR® enables both prone and supine standing, allowing therapists to precisely adapt positioning according to therapeutic goals and the user’s current condition. This versatility supports muscle tone normalisation, balance development, and postural control across various stages of rehabilitation.
Lower Limb Extension and Postural Support
By promoting proper lower-limb extension, LUNAR® supports joint stability and correct posture. Controlled muscle stretching helps prevent contractures, dislocations, and hip joint dysplasia, contributing to long-term musculoskeletal health and functional outcomes.
Advanced Knee Joint Stabilisation
Independently adjustable knee pads—offering depth, height, and width adjustment—provide secure and comfortable knee joint stabilisation. Smooth, stepless regulation ensures precise positioning while minimising pressure points during extended standing sessions.
Precise Trunk and Pelvic Alignment
LUNAR® features independently adjustable pelvic and chest belts with rotational control, allowing trunk positioning in vertical, lateral, and rotational planes. This high level of adjustability accommodates individual anatomical and biomechanical needs, supporting improved balance, alignment, and motor function.
Smooth, Quiet, and Ergonomic Design
All stabilising components operate with reduced resistance, ensuring smooth movement, quiet operation, and minimised micro-movements. Ergonomic adjustment knobs and an intuitive layout make the standing frame easy to operate in both clinical and home environments.
A stable base with lockable swivel castors allows for safe positioning and effortless relocation between rooms, while the lightweight, compact construction enables use even in smaller spaces.

Recommended for users with:

Cerebral palsy (all types and forms)

Brain and spinal cord injuries with limb paresis, balance, or coordination impairments

Demyelinating diseases (e.g. multiple sclerosis, ALS)

Muscle diseases with paresis or paralysis (e.g. muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, polymyositis)

🔹 Contraindications
User observation is required during standing therapy. Therapy must be discontinued if paleness, sweating, fainting, joint overload, or abnormal body deformation occurs.

Users with cardiovascular, respiratory, or metabolic impairments require close monitoring, including blood pressure, heart rate, and signs of orthostatic hypotension.
