Description
The Enraf-Nonius paraffin bath operates on the “au-bain-marie” principle. The paraffin is heated directly and more evenly by the heat transferred through a sleeve filled with heat-transfer liquid.
As heat-transfer liquid you can use a special thermal-oil. For sterilisation of pure paraffin the use of a special thermal oil is necessary (or else the required temperature cannot be reached). The size of the bath makes it suitable for so-called dipping treatments.
It is possible to heat Paraligno, Parafango and pure paraffin in this bath.
Paralingo – composed out of paraffin mixed with birch sawdust. It can be used for any packing size.
Parafango – composed out of paraffin mixed with fango (mud). It can be used for any packing size. (Parafango has a long term of heat development. Frequently heating till 130° to 140°C for sterilisation does not harm the Parafango.)
Paraffin – Pure form paraffin with a melting point of 48° – 52°C.
Features:
- Quicker Heating Times;
- More even heat distribution;
- Practically no temperature fluctuations in the paraffin;
- Mobile (on wheels);
- Stainless steel inner tank;
- Thermostatic temperature control (30 – 90 degrees Celcius);
- Overheating safety mechanism.
